What’s Happening This July at Small Discoveries Preschool!
Dear Parents,
Welcome to a joyful July at Small Discoveries Preschool! Summer camp is officially in full swing, and we’re diving headfirst into a season of sunshine, splashes, and smiles. We’ve got a month packed with playful learning, outdoor adventures, and themed days designed to keep your little explorers engaged and happy.
Important Dates to Remember This July
Please mark your calendars for these key dates:
- July 3rd – Early Dismissal Day!
- Please plan to pick up your child by 3:00 PM so our teachers can also begin celebrating the holiday with their families. A friendly reminder: families picking up late will be billed accordingly.
- July 4th – School Closed
- We will be closed in observance of Independence Day. Wishing you a fun and safe holiday with your loved ones—cue the fireworks and sparklers!
- July 11th – Bounce House Bash!
- Get ready for giggles and giant leaps—our backyard will transform into a bouncy wonderland for a special event filled with jumping, joy, and energy to spare!
Weekly Water Play is ON!
Don’t forget: Water play is a staple of our summer fun! To ensure your child is comfy, sun-safe, and ready to dive into the splashy fun, please send them with the following essentials:
- A bathing suit
- Sunscreen (applied before arrival)
- A towel
- A full change of clothes
Parent Tip of the Month: Summer Brain Boost!
Did you know that everyday summer fun can sneak in learning too?
Try making a “Summer Scavenger Hunt” on your next walk. Ask your child to find something blue, something rough, or something that smells sweet. This kind of playful learning supports language development, sensory exploration, and critical thinking even on the go!
Looking Forward to a Joyful July!
We’re so excited for all the wonderful memories July will bring. Thank you for letting us be a part of your child’s growth and summer joy. Here’s to sunshine, laughter, and learning that lasts a lifetime!
With warmest wishes,
