What’s Happening This June at Small Discoveries Preschool?

Dear Parents,

Welcome to our June newsletter! We are excited to dive into the Summer vibes with our little ones and have a month full of fun and engaging activities planned. Get ready for a season of sunshine, splashes, and smiles at Small Discoveries Preschool in Jersey City!

Summer Camp Vibes and Activities

This June, our themes are all about summer excitement:

• Ice Cream
• Fun in the Sun
• Bugs
• Rainforest Animals

We have a variety of thrilling activities planned around these themes to keep the children engaged and learning throughout the month.

Important Reminders for Outdoor Fun

As we enjoy more time outdoors, please remember a few essentials for your child’s safety and comfort:

• Sunscreen and Bug Spray: Please pack sunscreen and bug spray for your child to ensure they are protected during our outdoor activities.
• Water Play: Don’t forget to pack bathing suits for water play days, along with an extra change of clothes. We encourage water play frequently throughout the Summer months, so please pack these items daily.

Special Events This June!

We have some exciting happenings planned that you won’t want to miss:

• Magician Show: On June 4th, Brian the Magician will join us for a special performance! Please make sure your kids arrive no later than 10 am for the show.
• Donuts with Dudes: Join us on June 13th for our “Donuts with Dudes” event. This is a wonderful opportunity for dads, grandpas, or uncles to spend quality time with their little ones. Arrival time is between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM.
• Mr. Softee Surprise: On June 25th, get ready for a surprise visit from Mr. Softee to help us break the heat!

Important Date to Remember

• School Closed: Please note that Small Discoveries Preschool will be closed on June 20th in observance of Juneteenth.
